Introduction History ¿Why is special Quinta las Acacias?

House History

The mansion was built in 1890 during the Porfiriato period, when all Mexico and at the same time Guanajuato City received a strong and deep French influence. The owner of the house was the Malo family. The famous engineer Alberto Malo, who participated in the Juarez Theater elaboration, built the house. As he was very interested by the wood details, he created the impressive handrail that you can still admire nowadays in the hotel.

The Malo family lived there for a while. Then they left to the city center and the house was rent to several families from Guanajuato. Amomg them, we can mention the Ordaz Rocha, Acevedo and Villaseñor families.

In 1986, the brothers Engineer Javier and the Architect Ismael Pérez Ordaz bought the house and started to rebuilt it by trying to release its arquitecture and own design. All the remodeling was made by the two brothers , Adriana Esqueda Cordero has been in charge of the indoor design. She always takes into account every detail and try not to forget the wonderful XIX century period but at the same time she constantly thinks in the actual luxury facilities. As you can see, it is a complete family work which transformed this nicehouse into a real luxury hotel. In this hotel you will find the most helpful and human qualities staff who will always be attentive to your needs.

The excellent quality of our customerized service would never have been possible without the professionalism and enthusiasm of the General manager Ana Patricia Pérez Ordaz who will always make you feel at home.
